SPECIAL NOTE
We will be meeting at the Church at 8PM on Friday for the Campout. Do not arrive at the Church prior to 8PM as there is another event using the building.

6/15 – 6/17
The weekend of the Anniversary Celebration is also the Troop’s June Campout. So, the Scouts and Adults will be at the Church on Friday to set up camp around the shelter house next door to the church. The Patrols will need to plan meals for breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Saturday Dinner will be the City BBQ served at the Anniversary Celebration and requires the purchase of a Dinner Ticket. The Troop will be camping Friday and Saturday night, and Scouts can be picked up from the Church on Sunday. The Patrol Leaders need to make sure their Patrol has their meals planned and that the Scouts in their Patrol are ready for the weekend. The Troop will be wearing Class A (Field Uniforms) for the Anniversary Celebration on Saturday. Please let us know if you have any questions about the event.

Schedule of Events

1:00 – 5:00 Open House – Enjoy time visiting with old friends. Be sure to check out our display areas to see photo and memorabilia from Troop 98 through the years.

2:30 – 4:00 Patrol Competition – How well do you remember your scout skills? Test you knowledge at several stations run by current Troop 98 Scouts.

5:00 – 7:00 Dinner – Enjoy a gourmet barbecue dinner prepared by City BBQ.

7:00 – 9:00 Campfire – Be sure to stick around for a very special campfire ceremony, including classic skits and songs, capped off by a moving flag retirement ceremony.
